JAG: Scimitar
Here is the so-called missing scene from this Season One episode that was cut from the USA Network broadcasts. This scene occurs immediately after the scene in Meg's room when she had asked the corporal to put her bag on the bed.

Harm's room. He has taken off his uniform blouse and is about to pull the t-shirt over his head when there is a knock on the door. Tossing the t-shirt onto the bed, he opens the door. It is Meg, embarrassed at disturbing his privacy.

Meg: Oh! Sorry!

Harm: No, no, no! Come in. [taking her arm and pulling her into the room] I was just getting ready to check out the shower. The first thing I learned in a foreign country is, check the hot water. Come on. [walking her into the bathroom, he turns on the shower and puts his finger to his lips] Shhh!

Cut to Iraqi corporal listening in and having problems with the noise of the water as he fiddles with different earphones.

Harm: This whole place has to be bugged.

Meg: [nodding her understanding] I'm not off to a very good start. I offended Lt. Dumai.

Harm: I would have thought that impossible.

Meg: Yeah, for you. You're a man. I asked the corporal to put my bag on the bed and he refused. But I insisted. [They grin at each other].

Harm: You should have taken that protocol course.

Meg: Me? What about you? You practically peed on Col. Barzan's leg!

Harm: Seeing Cpl. Anderson before the trial is non-negotiable.

Meg: Even if they send us packing?

Harm: They won't. The Iraqis would lose too much face if they send us home now. They'll fold.

Meg: I wouldn't bet on it.

Lt. Dumai's voice calls from outside the room.

Lt. Dumai: Lt. Rabb?

Harm and Meg move over to stand by the bathroom door. The conversation between Harm and Dumai is in restrained yells.

Harm: Yes?

Lt. Dumai: Col. Barzan has a car waiting to take you to Al Mataha. He signed your pass personally.

Harm: And Lt. Austin?

Lt. Dumai: Women are not permitted to visit Al Mataha.

Harm: I'll be right there. [looks apologetically at Meg] Sorry.

Meg: The hell you are .... Sir. [Meg gives him a disgusted look and leaves.]

Harm turns off the water, opens his shaving kit, takes out his razor. He unscrews the end and shakes the transponder into his palm. We see Harm's reflection in the mirror as he stares at the transponder.

The next scene is Harm arriving at Al Mataha to see Cpl. Anderson.
